7 days left for donor to Match Donations for the Pump House
We Just got an anonymous donor offer. The Donor offered to match any donations made the rest of this month. Please use this link and make a donation any amount will help.
The EWPAL is in need of replacing the current pump house on the property. It needs to be rebuilt and made bigger. The pump house is very important to the operation of the EWPAL fields. The pumps remove all of the rain water from the fields.
We found that we need to have 4 pumps running at all times during the rainy season. Right now we only have one pump in working condition.
We don't like to close fields because of too much water on the fields. So this update is extremely important.
We have priced the new building with the upgrading of the pumps. The cost will be approximately $5,000.00. With the help of volunteers doing a lot of the work.
A Donation of $5.00 would help get the pump house rebuilt.
If anyone would like to make a year-end donation they are tax-deductible. If anyone works for a company that makes donations based on volunteer hours we would appreciate it if you could assign the donation to the replacement/upgrade of the pump house.
Please help us give the Children of the Community a nice place to play spring sports!
The East Windsor Police Athletic League is excited to announce the creation of our new Facebook Group Page. This newly created group will be used to post the most recent, accurate and up-to-date information on the PAL, the complex, the fields and any current promotions/events or issues. This group page is being created to facilitate the communication process through a social media outlet that many people use on a daily basis. The group page will alos be used for engaging all in the PAL community, in conversation, discussions, and individual posts or members sharing their child's experiences while engaged in PAL activities. Individual posts will be encouraged, along with the posting of pictures, positive or inspirational messages and other community related information, as it relates to the PAL, our Sponsors and supporters.
The goal is to have all parents/guardians of registered children, all coaches, volunteers, alumni, alumni families and other validated community members request to join the Group Page for this interactive experience. In the very near future this Group Page will also link you to the Official EWPAL Facebook main page and the EWPAL website.
Please log onto Facebook and go to www.facebook.com/groups/EWPAL, or type EWPAL in the search box under groups and request to join. Please answer the three questions that pop-up which will expedite your approval to join.
We look forward to making this a great interactive group page!

Hello PAL Parents, Little League registrations are now open for teeball, softball and baseball.
Please note some of the highlights below:
Early registration saves $10 until 1/1/19
Late registration fees start 2/1 and we expect to do evaluations for team selections in mid-february.
Tee-ball is for children ages 4 (as of august 31st) to 6. If you are 6 and feel your child is ready for the minors (mixed coach/kid pitch), please see Coach Jason Shannon at the winter clinic for evaluations so we can talk about the level that may be best. all other ages are in the registration.
We are pleased to announce that prices are flat the last 2 years and lower than they were 3+ years ago. In order to do this, we need your help in registering early and helping keep our costs down. A hat and shirt is included this year and you will have the option to purchase a pair of grey pants through PAL registration or you may have some from previous years.
This year we are also offerring an optional PAL baseball bag. The bag is only available to those that register by 2/1 and we will have for the opening day event. The photo of the bag is at the bottom. You will have up to 12 letters to embroider on your bag so your child can tell it apart from all of the others.
As you have seen, this summer we renovated field 2 and 3 and bought new L screens for protection in the batting cage. Our renovations for field 7 were delayed with the October rain. These improvements are only possible because of the fundraising we perform. Thank you to all that attended the PAL Bowling event where we raised $785 towards our program and look for a spring event. In order to continue to invest in the program, we will implement a work bond this year. It is $150 for a set number of hours of work, inclusive of tag day. If you would like to buy-out of tag day specifically, that is an option in the system. We really need your help in making this a better program. Please pay online for the registration and we will collect the work bond at winter clinic.
If you have old gloves or cleats, please bring them to the PAL office or winter clinic for donation to someone that could use them.
Here are some key dates to remember:
